The Campus Net 4 Future project aims to develop and test new paradigms of connectivity within the Politecnico di Torino, with a particular focus on optimizing network and landline services, simplifying the user experience, and ensuring the energy sustainability of infrastructures. The project unfolds in three phases: study and simulation, application and tuning, and consolidation, over a two-year period starting in January 2025. Network access models will be revised and adapted to different types of spaces, with the goal of evolving the campus network toward more flexible, efficient, and sustainable use.
