Applications

We design, develop, and manage the main portals and applications that support the University’s daily activities. Among the tools provided by the Directorate are the Teaching Portal, Moodle, mobile apps, the MyPoli services portal, and all platforms dedicated to teaching, research, and personnel management, as well as institutional websites and their associated CMS services.

We also manage the University’s centralized authentication and identity management system, ensuring secure, consistent, and integrated access to all digital services for the entire academic community. Our goal is to develop integrated, reliable, and intuitive digital solutions tailored to the University’s specific needs, enhancing the digital experience for students, faculty, researchers, technical-administrative staff, and library personnel. From planning to maintenance, our services ensure operational efficiency and an optimal digital experience across the University.

The Staff

  • Teaching Portal: A collaborative platform connecting students and faculty, providing centralized access to all digital teaching services.
  • E-learning Platforms: Moodle platform for delivering online courses and exams, supporting innovative teaching, blended learning, and MOOCs.
  • Apply@PoliTo: The official Politecnico di Torino tool for all online applications and procedures related to student admission and enrollment. A single portal for managing enrollments at all levels of study.

  • MyPoli: Digital services portal for staff, faculty, researchers, and students.
  • Careers: Portal for managing job postings and staff recruitment processes.
  • Authentication and Identity Provider (IdP) Services: Management of centralized, secure, and integrated access.
  • Mobile App: Official Politecnico apps designed for students and staff to access services on the go.

  • Integration with CINECA Platforms: Management and support for UGOV, Missioni, CSA, IRIS, and other CINECA systems.
  • Research Support and Valorization: Services for research assessment, management of IRIS, Open Data, and Open Access.
  • Web Hosting Service: Dedicated web space for University staff and departments, enabling the publication of websites aligned with institutional purposes (personal, project, or departmental).
  • Second-Level Functional and Technical Help Desk: Specialized support for all managed platforms and services.
