Research and Innovation: the “Comunicare IT – Computing Services for Research” workshop recap

“Comunicare IT – Computing Services for Research” has concluded, an opportunity for discussion and sharing dedicated to computing services for research.

The meeting allowed us to present the available solutions, gather needs and feedback, and strengthen the dialogue between the research community and the University’s IT services.

Thanks to everyone who took part.

A chance to explore and maximize the use of the university’s computing IT resources

During the workshop, the main digital infrastructures and services supporting research were clearly and operationally presented, with particular attention to:

  • HPC (High Performance Computing) for advanced data processing
  • Cloud computing for flexible and scalable environments
  • Storage solutions for secure and structured data management
  • Artificial Intelligence solutions for innovative analysis and models

Through concrete examples and use cases, participants were able to explore how to access these technologies and their impact on research projects in terms of performance, collaboration, and analytical capabilities.

The event, promoted within the framework of the “Comunicare IT” Project, represented an important opportunity for dialogue between the academic community and the university’s IT services, confirming the growing interest in digital infrastructures dedicated to scientific research.
